RoadCite

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

Short version: RoadCite has no accounts, no sign-in, and no server-side profile of you. Your practice progress is stored in your own browser. We do not sell data. When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads, and you can control that below.

1. What we store

Your study progress (answered questions, streaks, spaced-repetition schedule, settings) is saved in your device's local storage under the key roadcite.v1. It never leaves your device through us. Clearing your browser data deletes it. There is no account, so there is nothing to recover on another device.

2. Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first measurement service that does not use cookies and does not build a cross-site profile of individual visitors. It reports aggregate numbers such as page views, referrers and country. Cloudflare processes this data as our service provider.

3. Advertising (when enabled)

This site may show advertising supplied by Google AdSense and its partners.

4. Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we use Google's certified consent management platform, integrated with the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework, to ask for your choices before personalized advertising cookies are used. Your choice is stored so we can respect it on later visits.

5. Children

RoadCite is intended for people preparing for a driving knowledge test and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data about you on our systems, most access and deletion requests are satisfied by clearing your browser storage. For questions about advertising data, use the Google controls linked above. You may also contact us using the contact page.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continued use of RoadCite after an update means you accept the updated policy.
